Rofl, the nda has only been lifted for a few hours and who knows if an addon developer had got in there to get the information us addon writers need :D

Give it a while and I am sure information will slowly filter in. Just because the closed beta nda is lifted doesn't mean that the beta testing still doesn't have a long way to go.

Gello: I'm fairly sure that the addonkit works (at least for Windows), but I don't recall if it has been uploaded anywhere yet. There will still be tons of changes made, though, I'm sure.

They haven't finished the guild UI yet, and the other main menu bar panels look pretty much the same as live.

Thanks! Those are great screenshots and the cataclysm source will be especially cool to dig through.

The stats on the paperdoll look retractable. That's a real interesting change.

Lots of questions, like whether the flyout buttons anchor on the right covering stats, but those can be figured out from the code. At a glance it looks like the equip manager hasn't changed a lot.

One thing that can't be figured out from the code: does swapping a set with /equipset or the default equip manager use pickup sounds?

Indeed. I just tried it and the compacted version completely hides the stats rather than showing something like the old layout.

Do you mean the flyouts for the inventory slots when the Equip manager is open? They cover up a little bit of the item itself rather than encroaching on the stats. The equip manager window itself anchors off to the far right of the stats.

I'm not hearing any sounds for /equipset.

i have to admit i was worried that the trade skill frame would be totally different. looks like it's a pretty minor change thus far. nothing like starting a new mod just in time to have it all be pointless.

I'm kind of surprised they're still using the "short and stubby" profession frames. How anyone can live without FramesResized is beyond me (+100 internets to Elkano for making that) ;)

Doesn't even need to be complex, just doublewide quest frame applied to tradeskills would kick major ass.

I'm sure the talent window will get revised, with the change to the talent system.

No need to see 3 trees when you can only use 1. (till level 70).
