Help - I have a single action bar on only one character

I have been using Mazzle UI for about 4 months and absolutely love it :D - so much so I have not played since it stopped working (not entirely true but close enough! ;) ). I had some problems back a month or so ago after one of the larger WoW updates. Since then I've cleared out my interface and WTF folders and reinstalled. I also followed some other forum posts and used Ace Updater as instructed.

Now I have one character (lvl 30 Priest) that seems to have no problems with the UI. The buttons are normal and with Bongos I can edit them and rearange if needed. However with my lvl 42 WarLock I get all my button bars combined together (I think) in one long bar accross the screen. I can't edit it. I can't fix it by re-mazzifiing.

I hear a "fatality" message just at the end of the UI loading. Bug sack reports:
[2007/07/20 19:02:54-56-x1]: MazzleUI-1.0\MazzleUI_Handlers.lua:33: attempt to index global 'Mazzifier' (a nil value)

---

Then if I right click on the Mazzle menu and choose open Bongos and then click on some of the tabs I start getting lots of fatalities...

Here are some others that came from clicking on Bongos menus

If I try to open the Mazzifier I get this:
[2007/07/20 19:02:54-56-x1]: MazzleUI-1.0\MazzleUI_Handlers.lua:33: attempt to index global 'Mazzifier' (a nil value)

Keep in mind however Mazzifier works on the same account for my Priest character. Is there something I can do or modify perhaps in the account folder that will fix this?

UPDATE: It turns out I have the problem on both characters (Priest also). I just now went into the Priest and tried to make button bar #7 larger. I got a few more Fatality messages and bug sack errors and now my Priest has a single large bar accross the screen. I can only move it up and down (not left or right) I can see a button labled "59" so I'm wondering if its 120 buttons wide.

Thanks big time for making this mod. It's awesome.

update to MazzleUI 1.1

agshadowman 07-20-07 07:43 PM

I thought I was using 1.1. Is there someway for me to verify that?

Thanks!

Dreadlorde 07-20-07 07:52 PM

there would be more than one skin pack.

My Bad (no surprise)

I think you dead on Seerah. I had 1.01 with MazzleUI_WoW2.11_Bongos_QuickFix.zip. Downloading now... I'll report back in a bit with the outcome.

You guys are awesome for such quick responses. Thanks!

Problem Solved!

Thanks to both of you. I installed 1.1 and everything is humming along perfectly. Thanks!

Not quite yet

Hey, the new 1.1 fixed the problem on my Priest but when I loaded my Warlock to try and re-mazzify I get errors.

Without doing anything once the UI finishes loading I get this:
[2007/07/20 20:44:52-65-x1]: MazzleUI-1.1\MazzleUI_Handlers.lua:32: attempt to index global 'Mazzifier' (a nil value)

---

If I try /mazzify i get:
[2007/07/20 20:41:26-64-x1]: MazzleUI-1.1\MazzleUI_Core.lua:162: attempt to index global 'Mazzifier' (a nil value)

<string>:"*:OnEnterPressed":1: in function <[string "*:OnEnterPressed"]:1>

If I right click on the MazzleUI menu and then click on Open Mazzifier nothing happens. Sometimes I get this error:
[2007/07/20 20:50:18-65-x1]: MazzleUI-1.1\MazzleUI_Core.lua:162: attempt to index global 'Mazzifier' (a nil value)

Dewdrop-2.0-42066 (DewdropLib):665: in function <...erface\AddOns\DewdropLib\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua:604>

My Priest is now working great with 1.1 (and I can choose several different skins). But the Warlock is not working.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Mazzlefizz 07-20-07 09:29 PM

Make sure you're using 1.1. That's an error from 1.0.

And blue is almost completely unreadable, btw.

agshadowman 07-20-07 09:51 PM

Thanks Mazzle, I'm definately on 1.1 now. that's how I fixed the problem for my Priest char. I read the upgrade instructions, renamed the interface dir, copied over the fonts and interface from 1.1. After loading and firing up my priest the mazzifier poped up and everything was good.

Then I logged off the Priest and loaded the Warlock and got the errors in my previous post (which I changed to yellow! :) )

I got that error immediately after the UI loaded. Since its a 1.0 error I'm really unsure how to procede. Can you think of any reason that could happen after upgrading to 1.1?

Thanks!

Your UI is fantastic btw

EDIT: I was just looking at the bugreports I posted in my prior message and I see they all have "MazzleUI-1.1" in the error messages. I'm assuming you were refering to the first bug reports in the thread - those were definately from 1.0

Seerah 07-20-07 10:29 PM

Make sure you have the Mazzifier addon enabled.

agshadowman 07-20-07 11:03 PM

You are brilliant. Or I'm really an idiot! that was it. I checked out my Warlock character and sure enough two Mazzlie add ons were disabled. I have no idea how that happened but now the Warlock is working perfectly. Thanks again.
