Am I crazy or does PlaySoundFile not work with any custom files right now in Legion? I'm not able to play any of the WAV, OGG, or MP3 files that worked in previous versions of WoW. The API still exists; it just doesn't seem to do anything.

There are usually some problems with sounds or textures etc. during the early stages of Beta. It will (should) get fixed at some point.

Happens every Beta; they get around to fixing it eventually.

And, yes, you are crazy. The two are not linked.

Yeah, it's a strange problem to seemingly recur every beta. Seems like maybe they would have figured out how to load a file by now. But oh well.

At first I thought I was crazy, but then I had a long talk with myself, and we both agreed that I wasn't, but that we shouldn't tell the Dark Whisperers about the End of Light.

The issue isn't really loading the file, it's all the security they enable in Alpha and neglect to disable later on.

Hmm, I'd buy that.
