Looks like 3.0 goes live on the 30th
 

Well from reading the maintenance notes it sounds and looks like 3.0 is going live. I'm not totally sure on this though. The Maintenance announcement says hardware updates but it more sounds like 3.0 is hitting the scenes.

Very possible, but who knows. We'll just have to see. I hope so though. Ret will finally be a REAL DPS class and not some buff class! Go ret pallies!

Or... it could just be hardware updates in preparation for 3.0... ;)

It does make sence though, because the 2.0 version was released about a month before Burning Crusaide

Are achievements going in with the 3.0 patch, or are they considered "content" for the expansion?

I believe they're on the PTR, so yes, Achievements will be in 3.0

they said they target mid october for the patch... i don't believe they patch 2 weeks early

Albino drakes are for the expansion not patch 3.0

No patch yet :( Running around Org atm... while servers are supposed to be down.
