New Shaman Totem Feature
 

I know you said you won't make an update for the new shaman totem feature, but as a shaman, believe me, I've been waiting for this patch with baited breath... is there anyway to bring up the wow version of it? Otherwise, I'll have to find a new UI to use :(

Can someone who has a shammy please install the attached file in the [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Plugins ] folder and then log back into WoW and tell me if they can see the Shammy totem bar or not.

If the bar is visible, you will probably need to use the '/nui movers' command to unlock it and move it to a usable location.

Not seeing it - I disabled nUI and looked for it, it appears to be like a stance bar

/nui movers didn't show an extra bar to move anywhere.

Okay -- try this... log in then issue the command

/script MultiCastActionBarFrame:SetParent( UIParent ); MultiCastActionBarFrame:Show();

What happens? Anything?

Aha, I got something then. I think being a level 3 shaman on Nesingwary doesn't help as she doesn't even have totems yet. I tested without nUI and no stance bar came up.

But, here's a screen shot of what appears with that script. But as soon as Sen'Jin comes up I'll jump on my shammy and check with her.

That worked - thank you very much! I can't move it or resize it, but hey at least it's there :)

OKay -- here's an update to the movers script... see if this one works when you have a chance to test on a shammy that has totems.

totem bar works
 

I've got it working no problems thxs a bunch for the email!

I do have a question for shammys out there...This totem bar was (from what i heard) supposed to be a one click, 4 totems pop bar right? Or did i read this wrong?
I still have to click 4 buttons to get 4 totems; i must be doing something wrong.

Anyone help out a silly little Shammy?

Edit: I can't get all of the buttons to come up on nui as of yet.

The first button gives you a selection of 3 ( if I remember right ) separate totem bars. Each one allows you to assign 4 totems per bar. When you click on said first button it will drop all 4 totems assigned at once.

The last button should recall them all.

Hmm, just looked at it and looks like the first button is missing. Maybe a different name. Let me look on the UI forums for the name of it for Scott to add.

The problem lies in the patch notes, or not in the notes lol.

Blizz neglected to tell Shammys we have to BUY the ability to drop totems so all we have to do is train up and it works perfectly w nui!
I'll post a pic of my preferred spot but just having it is awesome.
