ProfileKeys question
 

For my UI I always clean up the ProfileKeys of my Saved Variables. For some reason !some! AddOns create this ProfileKeys that save the char name and what profile is used by every char that you log into. Why don't they just load the default profil instead of creating a new one (I have some addons that do this)? So many addons have this behavior... so my question: Is there a special reason why they do this? Is this a premade script they just copy past that makes it work like this? :confused:

Let me know if you come across any addons that shouldn't default to a Default profile, so I can add them to the exclusion list; some addons that actually should be character-specific rely on AceDB's annoying default behavior instead of explicitly specifying that they should be character-specific.

Have not seen any yet but I have noticed that the AddOn dosen't work for Dominos. Well I have 3 profils for all classes there anyway but still annoying it creates a profil for each class I loginto. Guess that can't be fixed.

Dominos probably explicitly requests per-character profiles, which is outside the scope of my modification.
