Help with unit targetting
 

Given multiple units with the same friendly name like "Ironforge Guard" does anyone have a reliable way of cycling through them for targetting?

TargetUnit doesn't seem to do waht I want, nor does TargetNearestFriend

TargetNearestFriend() is the closest you'll get :(

The targeting system in WoW is really awful, tho it may be by design since so much can be automated.

and I am starting to use IsUnitPlayer in some cases where I am not interested in pets, and animals, but only players.
