In combat here. You can see the raid frames too. They highlight white beautyborder when targeting one of your raid members.

The idea of this was to try to get a fully in place set ui thats really just install and play. Its clean, simple and right to the point and has many amazing features. In the end I do thank every addon author out there too, P3lim, Phanx, Nib, 10leej, Game92, Neal, Goldpaw, Azilroka, cokedrivers, Haleth and so many more amazing talented people whom I learn from and that I am inspired from and whom addons I do use. Thank all! Any and all thoughts are welcome! :p

Yah, i seriously need to apply the beautycase there and aurora needs to fully have beautycase applied on it but I have no clue as how to properly apply it yet. I think a friend is going to step in a help with that. I do have a couple of things I wanna do like some other skins and clleaning things up. I wanna make sure the peoples addons I do use give me the okay to let this be released too. P3lim and others I have not messaged about it all yet so. I wanna be sure they give it the green light or red light. :) I will keep this thread posted with updates within the next few days.

Anyway, in theory I'm all for replacing the Blizzard panel artwork with something cleaner with nice borders, but in practice I just never quite like how it turns out. Someone needs to come up with a good background texture that's not just that awful semitransparent black.

Hmm, I will agree. We all start somewhere lmao. I think I might have an Idea. Will post something later on if I find time while at work to work on this and if this idea is gonna look cool.. :eek:

At one point, I tried to find a better background texture, but in the end - a varying alpha and flat seemed simplest and best looking, even though it's boring. Same with my borders, finding one that works on frames, tooltips, action bar ... yeah

I also hate when crap does not match so I took the time making it my next tackle. :) Results so far and I also shot a questitem color on the buttons for the merchant and guild frame.. Do you think it looks okay or should I do grey or classcolor?

The GameTooltip is actually simple enough to skin with !Beauty case.

!beautycase is just simply amazing in the right hands or just being learned at all in that case. 10leej the loot frame is your code just edited a bit to fit beautycase and corrections to positions and stuff and imported border colors for quest items and items. So thank you.

Looks just like my loot frames as well. As well as several other loot frame addons I can think of.

Now for some questions/requests:

1. I like the layout of zork's rtooltip. Can it be considered to be used instead?

2. nLoot: I don't know if this is the case already, but is the pointer already on the first loot item when loot is opened? I find this very convenient when auto loot is disabled. Other loot windows have the pointer show up outside or far from the loot window.

As you can see, those are my very minor suggestions. From all of the screenshots I've seen, I feel this new UI is ready to be beta tested *hint*

The addon is being rewrote so there is no confusion. Problem solved.

Nothing major but. You can now get a armory link on the fly from any player you target! Started Aurora to !Beautycase, messing around with things! nLoot is rewrote now too! :banana:

I like that.. Perhaps I should switch to beautycase, might save me a headache or 30 :P

Externally but its a damn headache and I scrapping it all. Need a new way to approach it. :(

That way you can do it too. Almost same thing its just that modding directly would be what I have in those screenshots. Then went to do it externally and it was even worse. Internally was going okay its just a lot of work when you have to update the addon... Then its all down hill from there. So right now not sure how this will be done. :mad:

Well I know Haleth is rewriting Aurora and is planning on allowing it to be a bit more flexible layout wise. Might want to wait till then unless you want to make your own version of the addon.

New backdrop image. Nothing special just threw it in and bam it looks halfway decent so have not messed with it. Made beautyborders more silver color. More little things.

I wish I could just share a UI.. But it does not work like that I have to make sure that people addons I am using are okay with it. Better to be safe than sorry. I know some people do not care but some will and I am not trying to cross that line. Plus teasing you all is so fun :)

I will start PMing people about their addons. If some people are not okay with it. I will either rewrite it or just over time do something differently. We will see.

I see you changed the background, do you still have the old one lying around?

Is it possible for you to PM some of these textures? I'm not in need of the full UI, I just want bits and pieces from it. The background textures are some of those.

No seriously, while I am not a fan of the border textures, I've tried to come up with something of mine and am coming up blank. (The one's I've made were all not covering the blizz textures) And I don't feel like setting up my own version of the entire UI (aka remaking ALL textures)

You might want to do something about your "quest frame" since it seems to be floating in the middle of things:

The watchframe is movable by shift clicking it already.. Im not sure where you see it in the middle of things. Its in a perfect spot plus it auto hides in raids, pvp. :rolleyes:

He probably didn't notice it. Thats the same place I keep my Watch frame as well.

UI is just about complete just a couple minor things.

Still want the background texture you used on the previous page in the image you deleted. :(

I'm not a huge fan of Minimal UI's, although I do install them to try them out.

This one though looks to have a lot of the look and functionality I like AND still being Minimal. Definately looking forward to this I package.

Hi! I have a couple of questions about your addon, if I may ask :p

Firstly, will you upload it as a all-in-one addon? Or will it have little modules like NeavUI? It makes it easier to decide which part you want and what not :p

Secondly, I'm already using !Beautycase (the one that NeavUI comes with) Will it work with your UI? or should a do something with the coding? I'm a completely noob with programming (i can only switch from true to false, and set scale to something Q_Q) so I want to be prepared for when your addon comes out!

Lastly, will you upload the UI using your lastest textures or the ones that looked like Aurora? I really like the first one but I understand that you, as the author, want to upload your own.

Well as I stated the base is NeavUI. (Neals UI was amazing do not get me wrong I just needed to mod it some and then it turned into I needed to mod it a lot. Then it went from there. I felt like I needed to change a lot to fix my style. Everything is gonna be what you see in the screenshot. Yes you can swap out modules and just do away with them and pick what ones you want and what ones you wanna replace with your own. After all its (NeavUI) just modded.

With Aurora, you can just simply reinstall the og one and get the same effect with everything just being the og one. I connected backdrops to Aurora, just because i like it that way.

The !beautycase texture is defaulted pure white now. I find this to be so much easier! Colors really stand out! Started redoing the close button too!

Are you interested in testers to help you work out any bugs?

Looks imba nice... im using also some parts of neav mixed with some other stuff like oUF_Freebgrid for raid/party and oUF_mono for player/target frames...

One thing it would be awesome to be implemented is shortened shortcuts (dunno how to call it) of CTRL, SHIFT, ALT and mousewheel buttons and up/down. Last time i checked nmainbar did not display for ex. AWU for ALT+WheelUp.. instead it was something longer ...

I think ActionButtonText addon do that along other things.

And text color on roll bars should be white or some other than color of the background... green on green or blue on blue is less readable :)

I'm curious as to what you did with the raid frames. Did you only change our neav raid or did you replace it.

Is there any chance I can get you to send your previous background texture you used on the character pane in the screenshot you removed on the previous page? I just want the texture, I don't need any addon or anything. I can add it to the game myself, I'd just like the actual texture. Please. :(
