I am getting this same error(taint) just about anytime i open map(Blizzard's map), either minimized world map or full sized. It then makes the map unusable till i reload the ui. I have read in other places that its a break on blizzards side(something they did that started causing this) but there is a way to fix this Addon side. i get this same problem with Release and Alpha as well.

If you are willing to edit the source code you could do something like:

So I was trying to reproduce this in order to implement and test the fix Nihm mentioned, but for some reason i'm not seeing the taint which means while carbonite is being pinpointed, like most taints it's not the addon causing it....

I've looked over the list of addons running in the top post, but none jump out.... anyone know of an addon I can install that will for sure start causing me to see the taint?
