Using your Travel Items
 

A while back (that is the most specific time frame I can remember), there was a UI that had a button attached to the minimap that let you pick from among your travel devices. Items like Cloak of Unity or the engineering trinkets/toys.

Any ideas which UI or how they did it (probably custom code)?

I had forgot about that one, but it still works with no errors amazingly. The one I was thinking about is in MerathilisUI. I think this could work for my needs even better.

The one I use is Broker_Portals

It handles everything from Mage ports to cloaks, trinkets, rings, etc. As far as I'm aware, anything that can port you it works with.

Shameless plug: I have an addon named PortGear that automatically reequips the last piece of gear you were wearing when you use an equippable travel item. Try it out.

I actually have been using it and I think it is a great quality of life addon. I can't count how many times, I forget to equip my previous item.

Highly recommend it!
