mini map arrow
 

I noticed to day that there are 2 mini map arrows one on top of the other
The bottom one shows the right direction that you are looking
But the top one shows 45 degrees to 180 degrees off
It gets a little confusing while you are farming for herbs or minerals
Just wanted to let you know.

Can you provide a list of you're addons? The second arrow might be from one of them.

P.S. A screenshot would be nice too.

I am using zygor but i'm not using the arrow

Did u tried to disable all addons and leave just Carbonite? Tell us if this issue occurs when Carb is only addon enabled.

OK I disabled all my add-ons and I only had one arrow so I enabled Carbonite only and the second arrow appeared
This started happening in last couple of days

if u disabled all addons how can u have any arrow? This is not part of blizzard ui so u have to have still something active. Did u reloaded ui after disable(since disable is available from game menu some addons require reload or even disable from character menu to stop them working)?

You can disable ALL addons and you will still have an arrow on your minimap. That IS a part of the Blizzard UI.

Of course, you just might have not read the original post right, or something like that.

I see from the screenshot, the blizzard objective pointer, and the silver triangle that shows your current position. I am not seeing a second direction arrow on the minimap.

so now is the question why is blizzards arrow pointing in the right direction and not carbs?

Can you mouse over the arrows and see what the tooltip states for that particular arrow. It might help to know what it is pointing to...

your screenshot did not have the tracking hud up, that carbonite uses, as far as I could see.

I was wandering when I joined carbs maps with bizz's why is bizz arrow still there?
I'm going to try something delete all add ons and put them back in one at a time to see if it fixes it self
I will put carb back in first

He does not appear to be actively tracking any quest at the time of the screenshot. Check the quest watch windows as there is no quest selected to track so no HUD arrow to show.

That was my point, sorry, should have been more explicit. The blizzard tracking arrow can be removed by an option in carbonite, do not remember at this time, but pretty sure is in the quest module.

OK im not having much luck on fixing this
I went into quest module and disabled blizz arrow
now if i'm not on any quest it works the way it should only one arrow
but as soon as I get on a quest the second arrow shows up
It dosn't matter if I have all add on's enabled or disabled I get the same results

Thats weird i cant reproduce, anyone else has this problem? What about clearing cache WTF folder and else?

I have same issue, to reproduce it, easily it is on blizzminimap if you don't move into carbonitemap

I have deleted WTF and cash with no change and I have completely deleted WOW and re installed with no change so the only other thing I haven't tryed is to dump the hard drive and put every thing back in witch I'm not ready to do yet.
One other thing most of the time if I follow where the arrow is pointing you will be going away from where you need to be

im having the issue with blizz map and carbonite map merged togeather

I finally found a cure for this double arrow

I check the box for (Compatibility mode) and it fixed the problem I was having

Just to get it straight: The "double arrow" was on your Carbonite minimized map. It was the "player arrow" that was doubled, and you were not talking about Blizzard's gold arrow (that shows up on Carbonite's minimized map when the maps are merged).

Well, I'm glad you got it straightened out. I, personally, don't have that problem (or I've never noticed it, at least :D) so I couldn't help you out. Not that I'm any Carbonite expert, or anything like that, but I am glad that you got it fixed.

By-the-way, Carbonite's player arrow ALWAYS points in the direction that the players' character is looking. The Blizzard arrow points in the direction of how you have your Blizzard quest watcher set up (and it doesn't HAVE to be visible for this to take effect).
