Oh where have all the spell tooltips gone?
 

Alrighty now, i am absolutely confused as to where my spell tooltips have gone...as in the ones that tell me what the spell does. All I have atm is just the keybinding and for the life of me I cant seem to find anything in the commands as to how to get them back. :confused:

Hmmm.... /nui combattips enable ? or maybe it's tooltips ...

I'm sorry just woke up, and heading for work, so I didnt login to check first ...

type /nui help it should bring up a list of commands and just read through them (or Scott might tell you it before you get back to the forums)

Yeah... by default, nUI disables tooltips on the action bars while in combat so they don't interfere with your view of the field of play, other bars, etc. You can turn the tooltips back on in combat using the command '/nui combattips'

Thanks Scott for the tip. I tried it but its still not showing me what I'm wanting, I could have maybe not explained it properly in my first post so Im linking a screen shot.
As it shows in the screen shot, its only showing me what the spell is and what the key binding is, its not telling me what the spell does. If I remember correctly it used to do that, atleast prior to patch 4.3. I have installed the latest version. Any additional help would be wonderful. Thanks.

Psst, go to the blizz options and in one of the sections there is a button/checkbox that allows you to see detailed spell info on tool tips. Well at least it used to before.

Alrighty then....boy talk about feeling like a bit of a tool. I took a look for the button/box for the details....spent 15 min looking and still didnt find it. Maybe they took it out. Thanks for the help on this.

Nah... Press "Esc" to open the Blizz menu, select "Interface" then "Help" and click on the "Enhanced Tooltips" option -- that should do it.

My apologies for not being precise . was in bed at the time browsing on the laptop and did that all from memory :D
