Few ideas to make mod author's lives a littel easier...

1) Option in the submission/update form for dependancies. List would be pulled from the site's DB, it'd auto-generate links to the mod so the author doesn't have to track down the mod and link it in the description.

2) A setting to sort comments on a mod by newest first

3) Auto-notify via email if a comment is added to one of the mods you author. Include the comment in the email too :)

4) Seperate feild in the form for patch notes and known bugs. When a new version is posted include the patch notes in the email sent out to users watching the mod as a favorite.

Some more suggested features. These are actually available on a competing *cough* site that I find very nice:

1) Ability to indicate what regions' client the AddOn is compatible with and which ones has it been localized for (the two are not quite the same thing, so two sets of checkboxes would be needed).

2) Per-version based download count.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll work on them. :)

Thanks 5.1 Digital Surround Sound man! One other thing I'd like to toss out, an RSS feed for new and updated mods that I could plop into my News Aggrigator (sp?)

Something I liked.. from the same UI site Legorol referred to: direct links/quicklinks to your own addons ("constantly" visible), sure, the ones with 10+ addons might have issues, but maybe have some priority setting and a cap at ~5 listed? Oh and actually taking you to the page for your addon instead of the edit page might be nice (in order to swiftly be able to check for comments).

Furthermore it's quite tedious to be thrown out to the category of your addon each time you change it's text/update it in some way, either put in a preview option (that'd be awesome) or just redirect back to your addon page after making an update instead.

Summary:
Quicklinks to your addons permanently visible, at least a quicklink to your current addons and/or your portal if you have one.

Update preview/after updating redirect back to your addon page.

Anyways, all in all, amazing work on WoWI, it has at least become my new home :)
