*WoWInterface gains Author Portal System!*

Using amazing goblin engineering (gnomish has too much downtime), we've developed a one-stop feature request, bug tracking, and user assistance system. Now with 30% less explosions! So easy, even an ogre can use it!

Current Features:

• Authors get an easy to link to sub-domain: < registered author name >.wowinterface.com (authors with a space in your name will need to use two dashes -- in place of the space. example: jonny five would be jonny--five.wowinterface.com)
• Interface Bug tracking system
• Bug RSS feeds
• Interface Feature request system
• Feature RSS feeds
• Interface F.A.Q system
• Custom content pages
• News system with archive
• News RSS feeds
• Author Portal Owner area where you can configure many options
• Latest interfaces shown on front page
• Authors stats shown on the front page
• Author can add links to the menu block

Just want to say this looks absolutely awesome! When I have a little time, I will be sure to set up my own portal. This is absolutely great for someone like me who doesn't know anything at all about web design and just want a classy place with juicy bits for my AddOn. Thumbs up to WoWI's creativity.

Two things:

- There's a typo in the Welcome line of the author portal. "weclome!"
- using http://neriak_x.wowinterface.com does link to the home portal of WoWI and not to my own portal.

I can't wait to set this all up and update my addons and all that. thank you so much.
This is the best author interface I've ever seen.

Should be fixed, the problem was the code that compensates for people that have a space in their name. :)

question, will there be a page that will list all availalbe portals?

yes, look in the main menu on the front page of wowinterface, working on adding it to the header menu.
