where do I put gatermate for carbonite files so carbonite will see it?:rolleyes:

The same place you put ALL addons. It has to go there (in the "Addons" folder).

Use https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/wowgatheringnodes to import nodes to Carbonite its updated for 8.2 as old Gathermate_Data isnt.
