3.32 conflicts with mimi-map tracking dots
 
I updated to Carbonite 3.32 and now the mini-map dots are blinking all the time. When I disabled Carbonite all went back to normal. Using Mappy for mini-map.

I had the same problem, had to drop carbonite
 
Actual message that i received ....reads couldn't load the file

Sounds like it was unzipped incorrectly.

These files are in the zip file:
Carbonite\Gfx\Map\MMOIcons.tga
Carbonite\Gfx\Map\MMOIconsG.tga

Install it again. Make sure you have those files in that location.

Yes, that is from this change:

Added "Minimap herb/ore dot glow delay (0 is off)" minimap option. Default is .4. 0 uses Blizzard's dot graphics.

Set it to 0 if you want the normal dots.

Is it by design that this keeps blinking forever? How does the 'delay' value work? 0=off and 0.4 = forever is a weird value

If you are using custom minimap icons, then set the value to 0 and reloadui. The icons will go back to the minimap mod's icons...:banana:

It is the speed of the blink, not how long to blink. Not zero means wait that many seconds for an on/off blink. If zero then it disables it.

Addons cannot see the dots. We only switch graphics for the dots, which effects any which are being drawn.
