Unplayable Icons!
 

Hi, I tried installing this addon today, but as you can see from the screenshot, it's unplayable. Is there any way to change this?

Could you upload the picture to someplace like imageshack or photobucket? I've never seen that address before and am reluctant to click on the link. There's not even an image file extension on the end of it.

The problem you have there is that you have another bar addon. This is detrimental to using nUI as it isn't a simple addon but one that encompasses several elements that multiple addons can do for you.

The best way to work with nUI is to first turn off your original addons and just have nUI running. After a while you will see what you are missing and then turn on those addons.

With nUI you should not need another bar addon and with nUI+ a raid frames addon.

And, with the various optional addons, and their appropriate addons they work with you can have things like recount and omen hidden away in the bottom left until you need them.

I have attached some screenshots of my toons using it in various elements of day to day play and you can see how screen real estate is quite minimal in relation to what it can do for you.

If you haven't already downloaded nUI+ read the forum post at the top of this forum and it will explain how you can get access to it.

And if there is anything that isn't supplied by nUI that is vital your gameplay a word in the forums will usually result in an answer to confirm it can be added or suggest an addon that is known to work alongside with nUI.

Rofl, that time it isn't sleepiness ( I just woke up ). However, I admit that my brain sometimes gets my left and right mixed up :D So thanks for correcting it.

And yes, it did make Thaddius a fun boss to play until I put + and - stickers on my screen to help me with that first switch where my brain freezes when figuring out which side I need to go to :D

Rofl seriously, I nearly left the guild when someone made the joke about people not knowing their left and right.

My brain literally takes a few seconds to recognise the word with the direction, which in that fight can mean death, which it did several times. I was in tears on the first couple of runs until I did the sticky thing. I now last till the end thanks to them.

And fortunately I wasn't the only one guild that has the problem. Thankfully the guy that complained left the guild and the server in fact so we're free of him which relieved a lot of people that had bottled up their feelings :D

I have a hard time with that one as well! Stickies on the monitor... hrm... there's an idea...

We have several in our guild with the same issue... it's just a processing thing and not that uncommon actually.
