Rogue AddOns

Well im a rogue and im looking for some good addons I was thinking of stuff along the line of weapon switch stunwatch selfheal but WHAT DO YOU ROGUES USE or suggest?

i definitely vote for stunwatch as a really great addon.

weapon switch.. with the cooldowns they implemented for it, i dont know exactly how useful it'd be anymore.

selfcast ( i use cosmos version ) is great for gouge-bandaging, so you dont have to target yourself to bandage...

other than that i dont use any special rogue-only mods, except blind/flash powder count.

On my Rogue there's only a few addons I use that that make my live a lot easier. Or as a Rogue, bearable.

For weapon switching I use StanceSets. I really like the way it works, and the fact that you can list muliple weapon sets for each stance. They swap as soon as you go into Stealth, and swap back out as soon as you unstealth. It also doesn't have the problem of some weapon swapping things I've found that only try to swap your mainhand with your offhand. You don't have to have a dagger in your offhand at all, whatever you tell it to use for main and offhand while stealthed it'll pull from your inventory. Plus you can assign a button to quick swap so if I want to switch to mainhand dagger while fighting something in order to get a backstab in it's one button, hit it again to switch back.

I also use a self cast mod for bandaging, in my case ActOnMe which is an Ace addon.

The other addon for Rogues that I just couldn't live without is PocketHelper. When you go into stealth and target something your PickPocket skill somes up in a button in the middle of the screen, and when you click to pickpocket it changes to the loot window in the same place. It makes pickpocket so much simpler, and faster.

I have a question -- is there a mod to help manage your poison?

I have seen some screenie where there's a 2-button movable "bar" (well only 2 buttons...), and it looks like you can click on them to apply poison.

Ok, so far I gather stunwatch is a very good to have, and self-casting mod is much needed. I will try the pick pocket mod tonite. StanceSet sounds pretty interesting as well.

Just some linky to ease the next reader...

Vector's StunWatch -- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=886

Elwen's CCWatch -- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=2572

Iriel's PocketHelper -- http://www.wowinterface.com/download...fo.php?id=4091

Latest mod-version of StanceSet -- http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=2617

Self-Casting mod -- a tons out there. I personally use CTMod so it's built in already. I'm sure there's also Telo's selfCast, and Ace-version ActOnMe also.

Srsly?

Honestly you guys use an add on to self cast?? You do realize that there is a key binding to turn on auto self cast in the interface options that blizzard supplies. It deciphers things such as friend or foe, example you have an enemy selected because you sapped them and you use a bandage...it automatically uses the bandage on yourself...ITS BUILT IN :) . Stunwatch is crap...I suggest getting NeedtoKnow, you can have it set a bar ( or many bars) wherever you want however big you want so on and so forth, to track any buff or debuff that you or your enemy gains, which includes your poisons and all your stuns and cc's and can be used to track things while your raiding like your HFB and your SnD. the pickpocket addon is pretty nice...but you can make a macro to sap and pickpocket someone and have auto loot on and it does the same thing for you pretty much just less memory being used..

This thread is 4 years old, I have no idea how you managed to dig it up. The self-cast feature wasn't available back then, and such addons as StunWatch were gold back then.

EDIT: Welcome to WoWInterface.com! :)

Four years ago, when this thread was created, there was no auto self cast option.

Edit: beat to the punch!

If you like HUDs, I suggest IceHUD. Has customizable bars that you can configure for buff/debuffs timers, which can can eliminate the need for several other addons.
