Always show enemy name plates?

I'm currently using KuiNameplates and I really love it but I'm having a bit of a problem. I'd like to see enemy nameplates all the time. It seems like the only time I can see nameplates is when I enter combat. If I use ctrl v and shift v out of combat to see unitframes the moment I enter combat and then exit, the unitframes don't display again.

Is this a setting issues? Do I need to download something more?

I'm also using LUI Core if that'll help any.

Also, is there any way to remove/change the nameplate range? Seems like they fade out at certain ranges, I'd like to extend the range if possible.

If you hit escape to bring up the Game Menu, then go to Interface, Names, there should be a setting labeled "Always Show Nameplates"

Try changing the nameplateMaxDistance and/or nameplateMinAlphaDistance/nameplateMaxAlphaDistance cvars

Already set. Any other ideas?

Thanks, that took care of that.

Are enemy nameplates currently toggled on? If you enabled the "always show" option while out of combat, it won't automatically turn them on. Enabling that option just prevents any future automatic turning on/off of the "show" option, so after you enable it, you need to press Ctrl+V (or whatever you have bound to it) again to turn the nameplates on.
