Large Forum Pictures

I have tried a few different ways of attaching pictures to the forum (imageshack links, using the attachments button at the bottom of the forum posting page), and have looked through the FAQs and the forums themselves to try and figure out how to get the large pictures that do not need to be clicked on to view into my posts.

Can anyone tell a lost soul how to do this please?

P.S. - I apologize if I just missed the thread on how to do this, but I could not find it.

Clicking the FAQ and then clicking Reading and Posting brought me to this list of vB code which has details on the "img" tag that you are looking for about halfway down.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I think I'm just being a bit "slow". :o

I Tried to do this, but when I Put [img]...[\img] around the link for the picture I was posting, I looked at it and it was already there in the link that ImageShack gave me. Do I put it there again? And if you are doing the unlinked image, what do you type into the space between [img]...[\img]?

Can someone please break it down into baby steps for me?

If you are referring to posting an image without hosting it somewhere first, that requires you to attach it to your post, which will only allow images up to a certain size. Outside of that you will need to do what the FAQ suggests with the [ img] codes, using your link from imageshack or wherever between the tags.

Try one here, so we can see how you are doing it, and suggest alternatives...

OK, lets see if this works.

IT WORKED!!!!!!

Sorry for my ineptitude....lol....I guess I'm just a bit of a Doof!

Either that or every time I'm trying to post a picture it's 3am.... :D

Apparently, I was just copying the wrong link at ImageShack. :o

Good to see you got it working. BBcode just takes some practice. :)
