I really love that Haylie! I <3 properly used gradients.

Decided to follow Fer's example and start with the unit frames first.

Personally I'd swap them around, have the gradient towards the middle of your screen and have the target mana bar inversed, not the player one. Though this might just be personal opinion.

Ah, but you see, the gradient is supposed to be that way, to match/contrast the rest of the UI. You'll see why in the next screenshot.

I didn't like the black unit frames, so went for something a little more classical:

Unit frames, left to right:
- player and focus below it
- target and target of target below it

I think that the unit frames should be ~5 pixels away from the gradient border on the sides, so it looks symmetrical and you should change the mana bar since both HalM and Ish04 are very flat, while the mana bar texture kinda bumps out.
