I am looking for a wow addon related forum.

Not this one though..

Been here forever, but getting banned on patch day for replying to a thread is uncalled for.

Now i understand this message will be removed, but can someone at least point me in the direction of a good addon forum?

Bumping spam is serious, just don't do it. We do our best to keep it off the forums but the stuff that gets past our filters once it gets bumped only makes the spammer try harder next time since they know some one read it.

The best AddOn forum your going to find is right here along with the blizzard official forum.

Also it wasn't a patch, was just downtime.

Perhaps deleting the post and PM'ing the people who respond to them a preformated (easily pasted) message instructing them to not respond to those types of messages would have been a more diplomatic method?

I dunno, i just got a real unwelcome feeling when it happened.

What you suggest would have been a much better first route to take. I guess I just took a little offense to what you said in replying to the spam. I really should have just given a explanation/warning.

It's all good, everyone has a bad day here and there.
