Wintergrasp siege engine
 

Maybe this has been covered before, but i couldn't find it, so excuse me if there is an answer posted already.

When in Wintergrasp, I sometimes hop on a siege engine which is controlled by someone else. Thing is, whenever i'm on one, for the life of me I can't figure how to get of off it again. I avoid hopping onto one, but in the heat of the battle, I sometimes click when the cursor is the green arrow, and then i have to wait untill the siege engine is destroyed or the game is over...

Not sure it's a nUI thing, but if someone could tell me how to get of off the siege engine, please tell :)

When you get on the siege engine, there should be a 2 button bar that appears above your main action bar... the right button probably has an "X" in it... click that to dismount.

I dont know if its a bug or not Scott but i have had that happen frequently as well. I will try to do some testing for it when i get a chance. If i remember correctly it is mostly only happening when you are the 'Rider' of a vehichle not if you are in control of it. So often times as a 'rider' on a cycle/mamoth/wgtank/etc you do not have a dismount option. I have pretty much gotten into the habit of not getting on anything i dont control myself lol.

I'm new to WG still, so typically I just follow people around and kill them horde bastids when I see em! But I digress...... I've only tried to get out of a vehicle in WG when I was a passenger, and was bumbed out that I couldn't get out! When I was actually driving one today, I didn't really look to get out (hey, I'mma run that sucker into the ground!), but I believe there was a button next to the up/down buttons to aim the catapult. I'll try to remember to look and post back!

I think the 5 key on your number pad will dismount as well.

Well, that's the problem, there is no vehicle bar on that particular siege engine.. All other quests that involve vehicles of some sort have one.
It's no biggy, I just avoid hopping on to one, and if it does happen, i'll ride it out for now :P

It does, it works on all PvP mounts where you are NOT the driver or gunner. Unless you have changed your default keybindings that is.
