Using Minion with non-admin rights on Vista

Hello,

When I try to install the Minion client on Vista with admin rights, there is absolutely no problem : the install works fine and I can use the Minion.

But...

When I try to run the installed Minion with an other account (with non-admin rights) it has no module installed and in the "Options" menu there is only one menu : "Global Configuration" (I can not set the path to WoW install folder)

I also tried to run the installation process from the non-admin account, but I have this message :
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\download-6726.exe
Service does not exist as an installed service.

Yes, this is a known issue that... *twitch*akhfslkfhskjfhskjhfkwjhfehkwfiwufhBLARGH

Okay now that that is over.

Minion keeps its modules within the user directory, not within the app directory.

... will tell you where the user directory is.

To keep things simple, you either need to 1) copy that directory from one user to the other user, or 2) reinstall minion for every user into program files or 3) install minion into each user's home directory.

It isn't pretty, no.

I can now use the minion from any account :)

And sorry that I haven't notice that it was an known issue before I post :s

Thank you anyway.

It's a known issue, but that doesn't mean it was written up anywhere. :)

No worries, and good to know.

I get around this by installing WoW on a different drive. I don't know if you can go that or not, but it is an option (and it's saved my butt a few times when I reinstalled my OS).

Basically what ScytheBlade1 is trying to say is well we know about it and its getting worked on. Thanks for the report and watch for more info in future releases for the fix.
