RealID Conversation
Not really a bug report, but posting here anyway to give you a heads-up.^^
The conversation option for the RealID chat formats badly - the window is set off to the side and the font is huge. (And pink. What -was- Blizz thinking? >.>) Hope this helps. Thanks!^^ |
Yeah its the same with whisper conversations and the annoying chat bar defaults to the bottom for those but at least they're temporary so we will just have to live with it for now.
Unless my fiance want's to do the RealID thing I won't be using it personally. |
Anyone know how to make the RealID feature work. I tried to add my stepsons battlenet id and it said player not found. Am I doing something wrong???

are you typing his e-mail exactly as it is written(case sensitve)?

I am having a similar situation with the windows so I have them going to whispers instead of a new window but when real ID friends log off I get a lua error and I don't have any chat addons. The error read's

Things I've noticed after removing folder and installing fresh 5.06.23
1. Entry box overlays the chat window text at top and can hardly read what is typed. This happens when the text in the chat box is scrolled or all the way to the top. 2. Whisper window throws chat box to bottom and offset (which you know about in this thread) 3. No scroll buttons in the whisper windows...if you go past the top of the screen it doesn't scroll. 4. Social button doesn't fade away some times, I have to highlight it a few times for it to fade... but not really a big deal. Just wanted to make aware. EDIT: and as soon as I saved this -- email for 5.06.24 ;) |
