How do I stop the flashing gather nodes?

I believe I found the setting as glow timing.

Yep.

Most changes are in the version section of the addon help window and the changes section of the download page. Reading them is quite helpful.


Added "Minimap herb/ore dot glow delay (0 is off)" minimap option. Default is .4. 0 uses Blizzard's dot graphics.

Love the glow myself ... just thought I would say that :)

Hate it here... when I want to see nodes I'll look. Flashing *demands* my attention which is much less ok.

I always expect someone to hate any feature I add or change. That is why you can turn it off. It has helped me find nodes I would of missed when casually running around.

How about enabling users to color-code them?
 

I was VERY HAPPY when I first noticed the flashing dots! Tremendous help to me because my eyes are usually looking at my char, so that I don't fall off of a cliff while moving, etc.! Keep them, but.....

.... please find some way (if possible) to allow user-defined color codes for them. If I'm looking for a particular ore, or herb, I'd love to set a color specifically for that/those item(s)!

And, I'd also LOVE to be able to assign my own small, .wav file (sound) to certain ores, locations, herbs, etc. when they come within range of my mini-map.

Sorry, but no way to do that since addons cannot see tracking dots. The game draws all of them into the minimap frame. All the dots come from a single graphic file that the game allows an addon to replace, which is what we do.

I love the feature aswell. One of my favorites! ;-)
