E Shift-3 (bindings)
 

hey, on my mage I have Shift-3 bound to Fire Blast which is an instant cast, but whenever I try to cast it while strafing to the right (E) it won't. I tried with other spells, both instant ones and channeling ones, the channeling ones won't even say "you can't move while doing that". But when I try to strafe to the left (Q) it works completely! Has anyone had a similar issue?

Shift-E isn't bound to anything btw

Found the issue, it was a default binding to one of Opie's slices, which I unbound in the UI. Had to rebind it to something else and THEN unbind it.

never mind that, the problem still persists. i don't even know if i fixed earlier, was really tired at that time. i'm using a swedish keyboard if that makes any difference

When I'm at my mum's house, using an American keyboard, I find that I can't press shift-something-strafe right at the same time, just like you. (I use ESDF instead of WASD, but it's the same principle). What I'm saying is, it's highly unlikely to be a problem with the game itself, but a problem with your keyboard. Sometimes certain keys pressed together just won't register.

Can it be the common problem with keyboards?

it's a gaming keyboard that can handle up to 7 keystrokes, and I only have issues exclusively with E + Shift + 3, absolutely every other key combination works

EDIT: this issue only seems to affect the gamepad part of my keyboard and not the regular one. most certainly a hardware issue then.

Not sure what you mean by gamepad part but I hope you really can narrow it down.

I use the same keyboard, great keyboard for wow in my opinion.

I do recall having the a similar problem at one time. I redownloaded the software. The software seems to glitch from time to time. Here is a direct link to there steelseries download website
