ncHoverBind Short binds
 

hello every one,

im using http://www.wowinterface.com/download...HoverBind.html

which runs great and everything, but the keybinds are too long to be displayed, for example instead of it showing S-MouseWheelUp i want it to show SMU, i have looked into the addon core but i could not figure it out :mad:

there must some way to modify the lua file to have it display the key binds in a shorter form.

any help or tips would be great thanks! :)

In any case, ncHoverBind is a keybinding addon, it does not skin your action bars in any way.

Thanks alot p3lim, while your files have the feature i want showing shorter keybinds i already have an actionbar addon im using, all i wanted is to modify ncHoverBind to show shorter keybinds instead of the long ones, well i guess i'll trying modifying some of your code into it :)

one more thing your addon folder name does not match the one in the toc file, just u know :)

I'm not absolutely 110% certain, but I'm almost positive that the text is from the actual actionbars, and bar addons. It should display the same thing without ncHoverBind, and if you manually bound the same buttons yourself. If it bothers you, most bar addons have a way of hiding macro and keybind text.

Github archives repositories with the name scheme "repository-branchORtagORsha", which is intended and not modifiable.
You are not supposed to download the zip files from the website, you're supposed to clone it with git.

@Coote, Thanks, i have tried everything which only makes sense that i was trying in the wrong files i will try my luck with the action bar code !
