is there a mod that will show u what your other chars on the same server
have on and show the info on each item?

I still think ArkInventory's the best bag addon, but for searching alts' inventories, I use Armory, which also tracks just about every piece of other useful information about them.

Another one to check out is Altoholic. Not only your alt inventories, what they are wearing, but can search inventories, and check reputation/tradeskills and recipes known as well.

I'm a big fan of Possessions. It'll show all your characters' items, bank contents, what they're wearing, and what they have in the mail. It's searchable, and has a lot of filter options.

My preference is BankItems.
