Pretty much the same here in DC Metro.
For the one commonly used: 1 US gallon = 3.785412 liters
For the other definitions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gallon

Our gas prices fluctuate like the weather, but it's been averaging about $1 CAD (Canadian) per litre (so about $3.90 USD / gallon). I'm near Vancouver, BC.

It's not litres that change (being only one metric system), but there are several versions of the gallon. US liquid Gallon, US dry gallon, and UK/Imperial Gallon. Just like metric vs. imperial tons/tonnes. I wish the rest of the world would upgrade to metric, lol. :)

Due to MS and their products, we don't upgrade anything until the third service pack. :D
Let me know when Metric SP3 comes around.

In Memphis, TN I got it for $2.88 yesterday.

If I'm lucky enough to get my car INTO work, I can get it free, but that's only happened once in 7 years :(.
