10 man Raid Frames and the Raid Leader
Last night, I was forming a 10 man ulduar run for the guild, and one of my guildies informed me that I was about to 11 people into the raid. At a glance, I only saw 9 frames, but after looking closer I noticed my frame was missing, and we did have a full group. I used the /nui raidsort command to see if that would bring up my frame, but didn't. Is there some way to fix this, or is it just a bug? I'm using the 5.03.01 version from a few days ago, and when I join a raid, I see all 10 frames. This quirk seems to only show up if I'm leader and forming the raid.
Thanks! |
No this is not a bug it is working s intended Scott felt their was no need to (and I would say most of us agree) to repeat info that's already shown in your unit frame just to the left of the map. Your frame is not repeated in the raid frames ever wither you are leader or not.Hope that clarifies it for you there was some more reasoning behind this that scott has discussed but I am at a loss to remember what it was:D

This must be recent because I'm pretty sure I remember my frame being duplicated in the raid frames before. Now it's just an empty black box where I would have been. To be honest, aesthetically speaking, it doesn't look right...

It is a recent change when raid sorting was added... the reason for it is explained in this thread... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=22999
