Which Mods/Addons are the best?
Hi,
Which Mods/Addons do you think are the best? Which one do you recomend that others should start to use? Why should they starting to use it? PS: Post link's to download pages of the Mods/Addons ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I think Cosmos and MozzPack are two very good mod/addon packs. Of corse there is much **** in these kind of Pack's. But there are much good things in them too. COSMOS: Good: - All In One Inventory (All Bags become one huge) - Kahos (Easy to deactivete Mods/Addons in Game) - Atlas (Map of all instances, and info about where they are locaded) - Auto Bind on PickUp (Now you don't need to say YES all the time, when you loot Bind on PickUp things) - Many Buff's and Cast Mods/Addons for those who plays with a magical class. - Clock (If you are in the same timezone as the server, this is very usefull to know what time it is) - Chat Scroll (Oh my, this is very usefull. Much more easy to read the chat now) - Free Bag Slots (Small nummbers shown outside the bagikon, that tells you have many slots you have total, and how many you have used) - Thottbot and Cordinates (Extremley usefull if you seek help with quests and such at Thottbot and the cordinates are very helpfull) - There are many more Mods/Addons in this pack that are helpfull, but I can't write the all here. Test it out yourself. Bad: - Much crap, many unusefull Mods/Addons, but easy to deactivate with Kahos My Review: Usefull/Helpfull: 9/10 Crap: 6/10 - There are much crap here to, but thats easy to deactivate with Kahos Update 10/10 - Get Update all the time, very easy to update with the exe to Total: 8/10 - RECOMENDED! ---------------- MOZZPACK: Good: - Mozz Full Map (This unlock the intire World of Warcraft Map, and you still gets EXP for unlock new places) - Some others Mods/Addons in this Pack is also good Bad: - Have not been updated since v.1.7 of World of Warcraft, but it still works - Hard to contact the devloper of the Mod/Addon Pack My Review: Usefull/helpfull: 6/10 - Only some few Mods/Addons are usefull, much crap Crap: 3/10 - 80% of this Mod/Addon is crap Update: 2/10 - Don't look like it will be updated again Total: 4/10 - NOT RECOMENDE, GET THE MOZZ FULL MAP AND DELETE THE OTHERS |
Well you said Mods/Addons, so I'm assuming you don't just mean addon packs. Well, I run a whole bunch of different addons, probably the most addons I have from one author is from CT"_mod". The following is my post in my guild forums and I was lazy to write out each one so I just copied the Addons.txt file and included links. I currently run some disabled since I'm testing out replacement (most noteably the CT_UnitFrames, party stuff is being replaced with DiscordUnitFrames)
Atlas: enabled (Link) AutoBuff: enabled (Link New Author, old author quit) BGAssist: enabled (PvP addon - Link) CombatStats: enabled (Link the one on www.ctmod.net lacks Titan Panel support) ChatEventMonitor: enabled (Link) EasyAssist: enabled (My own, not for public consumption) -----All CT_* Addons should/can be downloaded at Link) CT_BarMod: enabled CT_BottomBar: enabled CT_BuffMod: disabled (Using Discord) CT_MailMod: enabled CT_MasterMod: enabled CT_PartyBuffs: disabled (Using Discord) CT_PlayerNotes: enabled CT_QuestLevels: enabled CT_RaidAssist: enabled (YOU MUST HAVE THIS) CT_RaidTracker: enabled (Only necessary if you want to track loot) CT_Timer: enabled (Not really necessary) CT_UnitFrames: disabled (Using Discord) CT_ViewPort: enabled ----- Decursive: enabled (Superior Debuffer, much more that CTRA Link) --- DiscordMods The following can be found at Link DiscordArt: enabled DiscordArtOptions: enabled DiscordLibrary: enabled DiscordUnitFrames: enabled DiscordUnitFramesOptions: enabled --- FelwoodGather: enabled (Felwood Plant Addon Link might be useless in 1.9) FlightMap: enabled (Link) Gatherer: enabled (Only useful if you have a gathering skill Link) goodinspect: enabled (Link) ImprovedErrorFrame: enabled (Link) ItemRack: enabled (Very nice Equipment Swapper Link) Jonnysaddons: enabled (My own personally written addon, so don't bother searching) MapNotes: enabled (A must if you ask "where is this?" - Link) MegaMacro: enabled (Link Will be replacing with SuperMacro in 1.9) Possessions: enabled ( Link) SelfCast: enabled (Simple SelfCast Link) Spellalert: enabled (Must have Link) Titan Panel v2.x: enabled (New Author - Link) TitanClassTracker: enabled (Link) TitanDurability: enabled (Link) TitanJB_Roll: enabled (Addon to keep track of highest /roll Link) VeriFly: enabled (Link) WhisperCast: enabled (Link) UI Mod at work Click Image to View a Larger Image |
How do I install all these extra Addons to the Titan Panel.
Extra things on the bar like PvP Status, and much more... How can I get them working, I have installed the Titan Panel 2.9 (Zipped it to xxx\Addons\) And I do excatly the same with the extra addons to it, zip them into the WoW Addons folder, and I can activate and deactivete them in the Addons menu inside the Game, but they never work! The Titan Bars are excatly the same, as before I installed these extra things! Okay, maybe 1 oe 2 of those I tryed to install works. But thats just 2 of 14. So anyone please tell me how I can get them to work. Is there another place I have to extract the files or something? Please anyone help me. |
if you install in the proper folder (ie wow/interface/addons) click on the titan bar. You will get drop down menu. Select the plugging you want or make changes you want to titan.
