Chat filtering addon
 

hello,

i'm quite interested in an addon which would force ignore all announces on a determined chat (for instance /2) containing certain words (for instance the word ICC, which may be very choquing to me atm).

Do you think it is possible to find such an addon ?
The purpose would be obviously to filter annonces that you're not interested among the flow of spam at raid departure time.
A second option would be to detect all announces made more than once per 10s and filter them as well.

In other words, i would be looking for some performant and configurable anti flood addon :)

You can use Tungsten and add most of the words to the Profanity filter, Maul released it as open source for anyone who wishes to add/change or reuse functions.

You could add triggers in the lua of BadBoy_CCleanerFilterCrapFromChat and it would filter out what you don't want to see. Doing this would effect all default Blizz channels though.
