TTF Font editor
So I've been using the same font since the ClearFont was first released (Calibri Bold) and I can't see myself changing anytime soon. The only problem with this font is the width of some letters like ampersand and some accented letters are not completely correct in and in lower sizes it will start overlap.
I was wondering if anyone knows a good TrueType Font editor. I will be googling this as well but I might as well ask if anyone else has already tested a few. Thanks. |
This page might be nice: http://www.myfonts.com/utilityzone/
Especially http://fontforge.sourceforge.net/ms-...tml#Installing looks nice :) |
The problem is to get your hands on a good one for Windows. FontForge feels a little sluggish, even though it's the only one I know of that's free. I personally bought some old versions of FontCreator and FontLab via ebay. No free solution, but I use them on a regular basis anyway. :)

Little sluggish seems like an understatement but I guess that's what you get for not running native programs.
I had a look at FontCreater and FontLab but I would need to acquire licenses to these programs to use them and they're a tad bit expensive for what I was looking to do so I'll pass. If you find anything else out there, don't be afraid to add. |
*mumbles something about downloading from pirates*
