In the carbonite directory of your addons folder is an extra folder called "extras" ( C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Extra\NPCScan Overlay)

Inside there is a carbonite.lua file..

Copy this to the _NPCscan.Overlay modules folder...

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\_NPCScan.Overlay\Modules

This should fix your problems with the error above..

The quests not loading correctly is not a problem with Carb... As a temporary basis Carb is using the Blizzard quest API (which at best is buggy) until the MOP part of the database is written. As you have stated, the best way to fix this is with a /reload

Rythal 03-02-13 01:23 PM

I think he means the objectives are not updating, which other's have said happened to them aswell but there is no errors, and I've never seen it happen myself no matter what i try to know why it's happening.

Tho usually /reload fixes it when it does happen.

Nevermind

I see NPC_Scan is more the problem than Carbonite

I see no extras folder in there.

It's not NPC_Scans fault, I changed a lot of things in the new beta which is why I included a revised plugin for them.

If your not seeing the extra folder, try downloading it again and looking inside the zip file. You can copy it right from the zip file into the folder he original said "Addons\_NPCScan.Overlay\Modules"

Not necessarily.... The fix above will sort out the LUA error you have posted, But the quest watch is a different problem altogether.
All I can say about that is Sifu Rythal will fix it in the end when he gets round to re-building Carb's own quest database....

If you don't already know, he is rebuilding ALL of Carbonite and he's doing a fantastic job of it!

EDIT* if it's not in there then you might not be using the beta... get it again from here..:~http://www.wowinterface.com/download...o.php?id=21936

It seems the Auto Track button will not stay clicked.

ABURECALL 03-02-13 05:34 PM

But thanks the load error is gone.

And I have great admiration for Rythal he is the reason Carbonite is working so well.

I have to click it every time I login..although it's always been like this even before Rythal took it over. Having an option to automatically enable it on login/zone in etc.... or at least remember the previous setting would be nice at some point. Minor request. :)
