Maelos Compilation -- Official thread

Overview
MaelosUI provides efficient configuration suitable for all PVE content and raiding in particular. There are a number of UI compilations available which look great but generally lack the necessary information you need in a raid setting. So, I factor the importance of having a sleek looking interface, with the goal of providing essentially everything needed to raid, in a single cohesive package. This is not just a bunch of addons I threw together. I put a lot of effort into testing my UI extensively, so you can expect consistent quality.

MaelosUI is intended exclusively for users of widescreen resolutions, specifically supporting 1920x1200 and 1680x1050. If you are running any other resolution, you can certainly use the actual mods I provide (Interface folder) for a stable combination of mods, but I would discourage using my layout (WTF folder).

Features
  • Designed exclusively for widescreen users (1.6 aspect ratio).
  • Tight integration of essential raid/PVE addons, no bloat.
  • Extreme attention to detail to maintain interface consistency. Every addon is tested extensively, both for functionality and to tune for proper placement on the screen.
  • Dynamic use of unitframes: Grid in raids, Pitbull in 5-mans. No other UI I know of matches this functionality.
  • Detailed installation and usage documentation.
  • Support for upgrades without wiping out your entire WTF folder and losing your config customizations.
  • Maintained using version control, with detailed changelogs between releases. Not just some point-in-time copy of a WTF folder, it is strictly controlled and explicitly updated.
  • Been actively maintained for 2+ years, with a focus on prompt post-patch releases.
  • Dedicated website and active community for support and suggestions.

Additional Notes
You will notice I take my screenshots in the middle of a raid setting with everything going. Obviously a UI can look "clean" when you have no data on the screen, but I believe MaelosUI presents enough data to lead raids (as I do) while keeping things clean looking. I use the UI myself so this is not a project which will mysteriously become abandoned. As long as I am playing WoW you can expect UI releases coinciding with each major content patch. If I decide to stop maintaining it at any point (not anything foreseeable), you will all know well ahead of time.

I shy away from any class-specific mods, so if you need any of those, you'll want to use them on top of my UI. Most classes have essential mods (timers for dot classes, buff management for paladins, HoT tracking for healing classes, etc), so it makes no sense to make the UI bloated in an effort to satisfy those needs.
