Okay, I've tried everything I've read here since 2.3...
I have in frustration given up, and done a full uninstall/delete of WoW!
patched to 2.3
put on Mazzle 1.1
put on Detards patch ...

Okay.. I've followed your direction exactly... and my stuff is 'mostly' working... except I have NO 3d models and as a Holy Pally in 5 mans... there mighty useful.
