Looks like it's also running from the OnShow (https://www.townlong-yak.com/framexml/live/TargetFrame.xml#520) handler on the template. You'll have to update the pointer after you hook the function....

The arguments the new function takes is...
The arguments the new function takes is irrelevant to the taint system. It's merely the fact you're replacing the old one.
Instead of overwriting the function, I would secure hook...
