I do recall there was a mod 'g15bar' but I think it broke in 2.0, and i hadn't seen any work on it since then, so I just cycled it out of my mods and just haven't been using those buttons on my g15,...

I use CT_TickMod, from CTmod, it works standalone and it's small and unobtrusive, to set options in it though I imagine I would need the whole CTmod framework enabled, but it worked "as is" for me.

Actually, BeneCast is the best one I know of, it's been dead for quite some time I think, but it does still work, and works well... surely an addon that well written can't be that hard to maintain...
