Could this fix be, theoretically, applied to Infopanel: Grid? I haven't been able to use grid since the patch and I'm using Healbot now. I'm not liking it.

Yes :) This is what I did to help me find that the problem only occurs if I enable Infopanel: Grid.

I will repost this on their forum I guess and hope it gets fixed soon.

I've found that if nothing but nUI and Grid is enabled then everything is fine....

You are correct. I disabled all my addons except for nUI and sure enough, when I right click I get the menu like I'm suppose to. I didn't have this problem with Spartain UI though. It behaved one way...
