Something else to consider... we're not being given beta keys so we can go test the new content, or DKs... we're getting it so we can test their new APIs and fix our addons.

Really there's no reason not to have at least slash command based config, seeing how easy it is to add. But it's one more thing the author would have to go learn about writing wow addons and it does...
