If you wanna gather information from everyone in a raid i think best way to do that would be to have an addon that communicates with other users like gearscore.

Fps/cpu
Before you used playerscore your computer/hdd/cpu was in chillmode and you had 200 fps in wow, after you installed playerscore you dropped down like a stone to 20fps with zoomed in view looking down...

Why cant you?
You can always use diffrent UI on all chars..
You just have to check and uncheck the addons you wanna use on each char at the character selection when you long into the game.
