Arrow showing wrong amount of quest item..

Carbonite shows sources of quests like quest...
Carbonite shows sources of quests like quest givers and even shows where you can find 'drops' that give quests. Perhaps a healthy search of all those locations will help in whatever zone your in?

The circle you are referring to is the area around you that the 'normal' minimap would have shown you. I assume it's not so much 'black' as 'darker' than the rest of the map area. Perhaps you had...
