most of it just doesn't do what it used to now.
Herbing, example, new BFA plants are not selectable, missing from the choices, for what you want to glow on the map.

map zoom / scale
This has been an annoyance for me since 4.x, where I would zoom in on the map using the + or double clicking, then when I move the map zooms all the way out so the entire world is seen.

I have had this same issue with all releases...

how about adding a check to see if you are in a raid, so when you go mucking about trying to do regular quests that you cant do because of being in a raid, carbonite will let your know that you are...

Nodes not flashing for 1 toon but do for others
old toon that just started lev herb/ore, and no nodes flash.
other toons do see flashing.
next to an unmarked herb node and no flashing, gathered herb, is on map now but no flashing for it on...

Lost all nodes for minerals
unable to see any mining nodes and my own map location entries as of about 1wk ago.
went as far as reinstalling all of wow and carbonite to new folder, importing both herb and mining locations.

working fine before adding on a few other addons then all ore locations vanished.
removed those addons, even the entire addons folder, wtf also.
reinstalled...
