Astrin -- make sure you have the latest version installed (4.02.00) and the minimap should move itself to the center of the dashboard. If not, when you log in, before you select a character, click the AddOns button at the bottom left of the character selection screen and make sure the AddOn "nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap" is disabled.

My brother is the one who initially got me going on it and he's been playing WoW for quite awhile now. And then come to find out some of my fellow soldiers play it as well. I looked (well I skimmed) through the forums and I couldn't find exactly how to move the mini map from the far right to the center of the interface. So any guidance would be appreciated.....thanks ahead of time
