Since finding nUI I haven't had the need for another unit frame mod. I use Healbot for healing and Decursive for decursing and also have clique for practising use of the nUI unit frames for healing.
I have 130 individual addons that can be running at any time and nUI still gives me no more than 38mb of memory usage before it garbage collects. I got some lag in naxx 25 last night but so did half the raid and they don't use nUI. With all those addon's I had a total of 74mb in use before garbage collect but bearing in mind that using nUI means I am using a lot more functionality in less space than if I was using individual addons doing the same thing.
Mind you I did notice it takes a long while for garbage collection to automatically kick in. I usually clear it manually well before it hits 20mb myself. But whether I clear it at 20mb or let it run to 38mb made no difference in gameplay.
