might be seeing Carbonite's "info windows". To turn them off, open Carbonite's options window and go to the "Modules" page.
Uncheck the "Enable Info Windows" option. Don't forget to /rl the UI after this change. If that doesn't do it, then the problem is not with Carbonite.
