my first computer was a CDC 1604. 32K RAM, 5 MB hard drive. Filled a room, cost ~$100K a month to run. No, I didn't own it - didn't have the $10 Million to buy it, or for that matter a place to put it. It was Cornell University's. That was 1965. 45 years ago.
First computer I owned was a Bell and Howell "Black Apple", ca. 1981. A mere 29 years ago. I bought it so I could play Wizardry.
