While not technically WTF free, with
Discord Unit Frames you can use Dreadlordes
extractor to create a Custom.lua file from your current profile that can be shared with others, they just drop it into their DUF addon folder and select the custom profile. No messing with WTF files.
There may be some similar mechanism for SUF to share settings.
