what you've done is acutally made it harder on yourself to play your lock in the long run, I'd sugest trying it the way it has been fully tested and giving it a real chance before really goin crazy moving stuff around. You'll find that it works very well once your use to it and will server you better cause the overall theme will stay the same in the updates.
